Oh, I love summer! I spend as much time as possible in my friends' gardens, on my balcony, or on the beautiful terrace here at the office. My freckles and I simply enjoy this time immensely. What must never be missing is a delicious, fruity drink that always tastes a bit like vacation.
To really get you in the summer mood, my good friend and wonderful colleague Lelle and I have put together our three favorites for you. Have fun trying them out!
1. Lelle's fruity passion fruit mojito
For two glasses you need:
• 300 ml mineral water
• 150 ml passion fruit juice
• 2 tsp brown sugar
• 2 passion fruits
• 1 lime
• some fresh mint
• Ice cubes

Here's how it's done:
First, you need to quarter the lime. Then evenly distribute your washed mint, the cut lime, and the brown sugar into the two glasses. Now you have to crush everything with a muddler (or alternatively the back of a spoon) so that the limes release all their delicious juice. Now halve the passion fruits and scoop the inside into your cocktail glasses. Fill your glasses with ice cubes, then add the passion fruit juice and top everything up with mineral water.
Now you can decorate your summery, non-alcoholic mango mojitos with mint and lime, and it's ready. Cheers!

2. Our gentle grapefruit thyme mocktail
For two glasses you need:
Homemade thyme syrup:
• 100g sugar
• 240ml water
• 30g fresh thyme
For the mocktail:
• 300 ml sparkling water
• 2 tbsp thyme syrup
• 160 ml fresh grapefruit juice
• Ice cubes

And this is how it's done:
First, we make the thyme syrup. For this, heat the water with the sugar and then pour the liquid over the fresh thyme. Place in the fridge for about three hours and let it steep.
Once the syrup has cooled, fill your glasses with ice cubes, add one tablespoon of your delicious syrup each, and mix everything with sparkling water and freshly squeezed grapefruit juice. Decorate with fresh thyme and a bit of grapefruit, and your extraordinary summer drink is ready.

3. Classic mojito without alcohol
For two glasses you need:
• 2 limes
• 2 tsp brown sugar
• 300 ml sparkling water
• Fresh mint
• Ice cubes

And this is how it's done:
First, wash the limes and mint. Then quarter the limes and distribute them evenly among the glasses.
Add the mint and brown sugar and crush everything with a pestle or the back of a spoon. Now fill the glasses with ice cubes and mineral water. Decorate with some mint and lime, and your non-alcoholic mojito is ready.

Fruity ice cubes
To pimp up your summer drinks even more, you can make beautiful ice cubes in advance. Simply freeze various herbs like thyme, rosemary, lavender, or fresh fruit like raspberries, lemons, or blueberries. This way, even your still water tastes like summer.
Tell us your absolute favorite summer drink in the comments!
